Meet The Founder

When people come up to me at a class, a night out, or a family function, they often ask, “How long have you been dancing?” And I always respond, “As long as I can remember.” I watch home videos of myself from the ages of 1 to 3, hopping in place while the music around me gives my soul a warm hug. To this day, that hug continues to keep me safe and happy.

I began my professional dance journey with a curiosity for different dance forms — from taking Bharatanatyam at the age of 6 to exploring House, Hip-Hop, Afro, and Reggaeton in my 20s, often in spaces where no one looked like me. I’ve never considered myself dedicated to just one form, and I bring that with me in every piece of choreography I create and share with you — whether it’s for your big day or a class.

My wedding choreography business began when my neighbor asked if I could choreograph a dance for her cousin’s wedding. I was 20 years old, but honestly, I’d been preparing for this since I was 15 — choreographing dances for my friends’ and my own Sweet 16s. Seeing my choreography celebrated, whether through friendship or love, gave me so much joy and purpose.

It was something I knew I wanted to continue doing, no matter what stage of life I was in.

“Great dancers are not great because of their technique, they are great because of their passion.”
- Martha Graham

My pop-up workshops on Long Island began in 2020 as a way to make dance accessible to dancers out east.

I wanted to create a space that was closer to home and provide a safe, self-paced environment. My approach to workshops is to… well… teach — to slow down, go deeper, and create time to practice and truly absorb the movements and music.

If you’ve had the pleasure of learning from me, thank you for trusting me. If you haven’t yet, I invite you to celebrate this wonderful world of dance with me.
